How do I scan a meal?

Open the Scan tab at the bottom of the app and choose Camera. Tap Take Photo to use your camera (or File Upload to pick an existing photo), then tap Run Deep AI Scanning to get the nutrition breakdown.

Can I log food without taking a photo?

Yes. On the Scan tab, use Presets to quickly add common meals, or Text Input to describe what you ate in your own words — the AI will estimate the nutrition for you.

How do I track my daily nutrition?

Your logged meals and daily totals (calories, protein, carbs, and fat) appear on the Dashboard tab, measured against the goals in your profile.

How do I find food assistance near me?

Open the Care tab, then either tap Use my location or enter your ZIP code. You'll see nearby food banks, free meals, SNAP/EBT stores, WIC offices, and farmers markets, and can tap any to open it in Maps.

Is NutriScan free?

Yes — NutriScan is free to download and use. An optional Pro subscription unlocks premium features; you can see what's included and the current pricing on the Pro tab in the app. You're never charged unless you choose to upgrade.

How do I change my goals or profile?

Open the Profile tab to update your name, dietary goal, and preferences, or to switch between light and dark mode.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email, and we'll send a 6-digit reset code. Enter the code and a new password to get back in. (If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.)

How do I delete my account?

Open the Profile tab and use the account-deletion option. This permanently removes your account and associated data.

The app crashed or isn't working — what should I do?

Try fully closing and reopening the app, and make sure your iOS is up to date. If the problem continues, email us at the address below and we'll help you sort it out.
